in my early years of marriage, having two kids at that time wo dont have an indonesian helper at home. so the kids were left at ‘rumah ibu’. a very nice couple with 4 growing kids. they were wonderful and very loving towards our pair of kids. even in weekends they would still wanted to go to the rumah ibu !

these couple, with the wife is a full time housewife while the husband was working with some forwading company as a driver. the company went bankrup resulting the hubby jobless. he then ventures into pasar malam things, he jual sayur there.

so each and every morning, he would go to the pasar borong to get the stocks. at around 3 to 4 he then will gerak to various pasar malams around the town each and every night except one or two malam yang tak ada pasar malam. the wife will join him after maghrib prayers.

these keeps going untill we were blessed with more kids and could not afford their services anymore. having 3 growing kids resulting almost rm700 per month just for the jaga budak only. so we take the indo helper and we sadly had to stop sending our angels there. we then move to our current house now.

but we still maintain the friendship. once a while we still visit them. let the kids jumpa them and things like that. any kenduri we were still invited and so on.

last weekend, me and maklong were at their house. this time business visit. i explained to them about the unit trust and bla bla bla.

fifteen minutes of explaination; they agreed to invest.

total investment ? RM 70k. cash!! - the next morning i ikut them to the asn counter to transfer the money!! i saw their buku pelaburan…..

mak ai!!!!! kalau aku tau camtu; takmo eh aku buat engineering neh… tak yah pening pening. ratus ribu tuu saving they all. no income tax. no need laptops, no need office, all terms cash !! they invest 15k each for the hubby and wife and their 4 kids get 10k each as initial investments. they said they will wait and see; if the unit trust things ni ok, they will top up more!

and its just from jual sayur…

some one gave me the brand new celcom 3G broadband modem for a week test. he told me that give it a try and put in in your blog. wah! celcom also read my blog meh ??? tochei tochei.

anyway, the usb modem is so easy to use. just cucuk main only. plug and play. software is built in so once you cucuk it will main. click on installation and viola.. it’s ready (provided that you have the sim card inside) there are a few packages offered and those info is in their website

its a small device, just a size of two condom pack. one drawback is its gonna eat up one of your usb port at your pc. depending on your package it will use 3G or 3.5G though i’m not sure if it can do anything with our gigi.

Well dont be fooled with the numbers (To my friend - i’m going to be honest. i’ll write base from my pengalaman okeh. will try not to hide anything nor promote. its basically base from my pengalaman)

in reality ist about 0 to 10 Kbps upload/download only. its good for average email and stuff. but if u’re downloading stuffs or viewing pages that furnished with graphics and photos, it’ll take some time! honest. there are some time where download/upload speed is somehow above 50 kbps. line problem ??

then came the some disconnection thinggy. i dont know, maybe its the line, its the modem or what but it seems that somehow it just decide to disconnect itself. not so frequent though but its still not gud okeh. ermm it gets hot too! an aircon room might solve the problem.

as you can see, this modem is pretty handy. it gets the power from the notebook and a simple click will let you get connected. practically you can berinternet anywhere as long as there is celcom coverage. just bring your lappy. errr its also can connect to your desktop pc but i’m not so cool of the idea. i mean you dont take your desktop pc anywhere with u rite!

all in all; its a good device. with the subscription of about rm100 per month (depending on your package) i still can consider a value for money. there are some housing/office area that are still dont have a landline to connect; then this is a thing for you. for those who frequently on the move and need a connection, this should be considered. though we have hotspots around but having this device in your bag will make sure you would not be in the darkness if you cant find any free wifi’s.

but if u were a super duper heavy internet junkie, online gamers, well… i dont really advice you on this.

since i didnt go to the office this morning, i went to one government agencies to do some errants. upon reaching there and i sat on the ruang menunggu. then came a very beautiful lady, clad in long skirt and blouse. so sweet. i smiled back when she smile and ask wheter the seat next to me is available.

she sat beside me

then she said hi yaaang….   a very sweet voice indeed

i turn to her and smile as i want to responds to her greetings….

arabs - apparently came back from their office at about 8 30 pm. siap jemaah asar and maghrib with him. its confirmed that he reject the first design. all my two months effort gone with the rains huhuhu. but he still needs the project done only on smaller scale though.

payments - he pat on my shoulder and said, my friend; i really apprieciate your supports to us but your price is high laaa! hehehehe. the cheque will be bank in by his staff this morning. yezzzzz.

new job - called a client this morning. that i finally recieved their downpayments for the  upcoming vacuum mould they awarded us few months back. this caring manager asked me whether i’m still okay with the price as all the material price had shoot up and things like that. hehehe nice client neh.

effa - called their top managements and confirmed with them that they will get a letter from my lawyers (which i still dont have any) if they dont settle all the debts soon. i gave them two week time to settle. enuf is enuf rite. ermmm now i need to find a lawyer to assist me hehehehehe. anyone?

office - called the office and checked with the guys what are the latest situation there. updated all the info.

accounts - update all the accounts and confirmed the balance via online banking.

suppliers - reschedule the appointments to tomorrow as i think i wont be in the office today. need to do the designs and i think i nak buat kat umah saja. besides, my son is having is trials for upsr today and rasanya nak catch up with him at lunch.

subcons - asked them to submits the quotations as soon as possible. we had too much things to handle inhouse so i have to assign some sub cons to do some of our jobs.business is picking up and hopefully the much needed payments are coming in also.

me ? i’m still half naked.clad in the towel. lom mandi lagi huhuhuhu.

the radio continuosly annouce the gridlocks in all the access roads to Kuala Lumpur. as i had arranged a 4pm appointment with the arabs office which is located in one of the buildings near the KLCC; i was quite pissed off. first of all, why need to create an un neccesary panic among the publics ? why need to create havocs by creating those much not needed roadblocks??? ceh… otak taruk lutu ka???

well, as i dont want to be liwat; i gerak awal from the office.after zohor i already on the move and without taking lunch.

suprisingly; all the roads were smooth. yeah, there were man in the unforms at certain places with their tables and boring looking face.but all in all; traffice was smooth.now its either the radio who were not updated or they were told to report the stupid jamns in order to deter people coming into the city !

And here i am; two hours early for the appointment !!!!!!

i got a call from the arab engineer on friday at around 9pm. he told me that they need some minor modification of the machine that i made for them. base from what he explained, i know that its just minor, but without the modification the machine is useless !

there were some miscommunication somewhere. i think my design has already followed their specs and beside that; i’ve send my designs for approval prior to fabrication; so by right it wasnt our fault. but anyhow; i told him i’ll be there tomorrow morning.

in simple terms;my machine cant communicate with their machine due to different interface. and as usual, i text their boss mentioning what i’m going to do tomorrow. the boss is need to know first as he is the one who authorised the signature hahahaha

so pepagi lagi i dah tercegat kat their factory. called my staff to bring appropriate tools and start modifications and so on.

lunch time - bring them to one of the mamaks for briani. superb sedap they said.

as usual, solat time is jamaah. its a must for them.

then came the big boss. asked what really happened. then he asked the engineer to follow him to the meeting room. and screw him kaw kaw. dont understand a word he said but from the tone and the shouting.. i knew that he is damn mad.

but then i saw them salams and hug each other.

wah.. so easy to cool off meh !!! amazing

manage to settle those modifications at around 3. hah. minor modification that took us almost half day to settle eh.

over the teh tarik after that. the big boss told me that he need to revise/scrap the project that i’ve been designing for them for the last two months !! he said he wanted to revise as the cost of those things had shoot up and he wanted to scale it down. then he told me to do a concept and present to him on monday at 4 pm as he will be taking a long leave after that.

customer is always right !!!! adehh.

he will be taking a full two week vacation. thats why he needs everything by monday. he also wants me to check/study/design/supply a crane system for their factory. adehhh. 10 tonnes crane neh. who got contacts???? mail me k

then today (sunday) i text him

salam boss. since u’re taking a long vacation; can u issue us the payments for those that we’ve commisioned. thanks in advance.

and he replied. in a single word.

i read the newspaper (NST) today and i was shocked to know that there were some ‘communities’ in Malaysia who were super advance, super modern - as they thought lah.

Apparently; these few couples would arrange a secret meeting, by invitation only. arranged by ‘host’. they will gather at posh restaurants/hotel for makan makan. wine and dine for the get to know session. normally from four to ten couples.

after the makan, they will adjourn to the host place where more wine will be served. from there each of the guys will make a list of the females. which one they like most, and so on. the women also will make the same list as for the guys.

then the host will match the partners and they were provided a room each.

and she is all yours.

maksudnya, each guys can choose whose wife he would like to sleep with and their wives also could decide which bird they want..literally!

waduuuhhh.. gue kolot. gue tak sangka ada yang sanggup tukar tukar macam ittew.

but according to the article, they intervied one couple. the reason that they gave is quite reasonable. they said its much better than cheating behind each other !

and mostly the couples who registered with them are big shots, successful businessman, profesionals…

age from 30’s to 40’s and some were dah setengah abad pun nak join…
